Jewish workshops

It is the core of our community life. This is not just a class, but an opportunity to learn more about Jewish traditions, discover how to celebrate Shabbat, and explore the connection to Messiah Yeshua. For many, it is also a place of new acquaintances, friendship, and unity.

Also we have Talmidim (discipleship) groups, and Freedom groups focused on deeper study of the Word and spiritual growth of leaders and ministers.

Shabbat

Shabbat has been central to our congregational life from the very beginning. Through Shabbat celebrations, many Jewish people encounter the reality of the Lord in a deep and personal way.

Even during quarantine and the war in Ukraine and Israel, we continue to celebrate Shabbat. Our Kyiv congregation has not missed a single one, even on the third day of the full-scale war.

Despite shelling and an advancing enemy, our ministers gathered trusting God’s promise that if we remained His “household” (1 Timothy 5:8), He would supernaturally protect us. Many online viewers could hardly believe the service was live, yet we witnessed God’s protection, changed circumstances, and His faithful presence. Shellings in Ukraine continues, electric outages and other difficulties, but we continue to celebrate Shabbat, standing firm in Him.

In addition to regular services, somtimes we held street Erev Shabbat gatherings and outdoor Shabbat celebrations.

Where to celebrate Shabbat

Celebration of the Jeiwish Biblical festivals

We celebrate all the biblical Jewish holidays, the Feasts of the Lord, including Shabbat, Passover, Shavuot, Yom Teruah, Yom Kippur, and Sukkot. We also celebrate Purim and Hanukkah, which remind us of God's miracles in Israel’s history. Each holiday not only a time of celebration and unity but also an opportunity to introduce our Jewish people to Yeshua the Messiah, whose image is prophetically revealed in every biblical holiday. For Christians from different denominations, it is a wonderful opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the Jewish roots of their faith.

Jewish Open Space Festival

For over 11 years, Jewish Open Space has opened the door to Jewish biblical tradition, culture, and faith. Through this festival, we share the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Jewish people, tell the story of the God of Israel, and present the life and mission of our congregation. More than an event, it is a bridge between generations, traditions, and cultures. In 2019, on the eve of the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival gathered around 10,000 guests in the heart of Kyiv, becoming one of the largest Jewish faith-and-culture events in Kyiv.

During the war, Jewish Open Space gained new meaning, transforming into a international charity and outreach initiative that supports the rehabilitation of wounded soldiers and provides care for those affected by the conflict. In 2025, the project expanded internationally, reaching 15 cities in 7 countries, continuing to bring hope, healing, and the message of faith to Jewish communities worldwide.

Jewish theater and concerts

One of the ways we reach the Jewish people is through Jewish concerts and theater. The Mazl Tov Theater is a vibrant center of Jewish culture, bringing heritage to life through powerful and emotional performances. The theater participates in concerts and Jewish festivals and presents themed productions for Jewish holidays.

The Mazl Tov Theater serves diverse audiences, including soldiers, internally displaced persons, and community guests. Especially in times of hardship, these performances offer hope, comfort, and inspiration, creating a space for deep connection through art and shared emotion.
